Tammy and Ken’s Story

This was our first experience with PfaP, but certainly not our last! We learned about PfaP through our travel agent and on our recent trip to East Africa, we decided to pack medical items for Bwindi Community Hospital in Uganda. We were staying at Bwindi Lodge, one of the Participants on their website. We managed to bring 28 pounds of requested supplies.

Unfortunately, our luggage arrived in Uganda 6 days late, but our travel company was able to deliver the supplies. We received a thank you email and photos from the hospital two weeks after we returned home! Once our friends, family and business associates learned we were participating in PfaP we received many donated items. We can’t wait for our next opportunity to Pack for a Purpose!
