Project Description
Miss Bertie’s Hopkins Library provides a safe and welcoming space for children and adults in Hopkins where they have access to books, help with homework, games, and friendly faces. Their aim is to teach Hopkins’ youth to be responsible with books and other library property, and to take pride and ownership in their community library.
Project Needs
Books:
Arts and Recreation, Children’s Storybooks, ‘Learning-to-Read’ Books, Parenting, Young Adult Fiction and Non-Fiction, and Young Readers and Teenage Fiction
Reference Materials:
Children Learning Show DVDs, Dictionaries,and Educational DVDs
Library Supplies:
Ballpoint Pens, Crayons, Carbon Paper, Erasers, Markers, Pencils, Rulers, Scissors, Stencils, and Strong Paper/Cardboard Glue
Computer Hardware/Software:
Working Laptops and Ink: HP 664 XL color / HP61 XL Black
