Visiting orphanages

Pack for a Purpose does not condone visiting orphanages, as this can often lead to negative impacts on children. The accommodation or tour company working with the orphanage will deliver the supplies in a coordinated and respectful way so that the children can benefit from them. Your generosity is not diminished because you do not interact with the children.

Project Description

Tiliva Village District school #1320 is located in Tiliva Village on Kadavu Island, Fiji, and supports 70 children from the ages of 7 through 15. Your Stay at Tiliva Resort helps the neighboring villages through hosted medical and humanitarian aid trips to the island, but more specifically we ask all our guest to take school supplies to help Tiliva District schools. The economics of the island make it hard for a family to provide for all the needs for the students. Your Pack for a Purpose donation helps the children of Kadavu Island to succeed.
