While preparing for a trip to Southeast Asia, we contacted the Shinta Mani Foundation in Siem Reap, Cambodia via Pack for a Purpose. We packed an extra suitcase and brought about 70 lbs. of supplies for local children participating in the SMF’s training programs. We took dental supplies, mosquito netting, and medical supplies, but the majority of our weight was taken up by textbooks. These textbooks will be used to train local rural teenagers for jobs that involve interacting with foreigners. Thank you to Pack for a Purpose for making this connection!
