Kathy’s Story

We recently visited Punta Cana at the end of March. Having visited the country 4 years prior, I knew that I wanted to donate and give to the people there. The Dominican people that we met last time and this visit truly touched our lives. They are amazing, with great attitudes and friendliness.  This was my children’s first visit and it definitely made them appreciate what they have in the US. They are richer in value and in spirit for seeing other areas of the world, far more than I could try to teach through a textbook.

We were so happy to find PfaP. We brought 2 full sized suitcases and 2 carry-ons, with estimated weight of about 150 lbs. for the projects supported by Outback Adventures. They support several rural schools, a clinic, and the Boys Shelter Higuey. We were able to bring school supplies, shoes, medical supplies, and toiletries. So excited to help. Always want to give more to these wonderful people with such a beautiful culture and attitude. Thank you for all you do PfaP. And thank you to Dominican for letting us see their country!
