PfaP is delighted to welcome Rocio Antelis as one of our 2 new outstanding interns this summer.
Rocio is a senior at NC State University double majoring in Business Administration and International Studies. She found Pack for a Purpose through ePACK, a career development website provided by NC State. She was drawn to the international and service-oriented aspects of the organization. After graduation, she hopes to work in the nonprofit sector and make a positive impact, specifically working with underrepresented groups.
Rocio loves traveling and has been to Mexico, Portugal, Morocco, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Spain, where she studied abroad. After returning from her studies in Spain, she worked at the NC State Study Abroad Office where she managed the front desk and phone, assisted in the application process, and edited the website.
She’s excited to apply her background and skills to help PfaP continue to make a big impact, as well as learn new skills from the experience. As an intern, she will be updating the website and communicating with participants and travelers. She looks forward to continue interning in the fall.
