It was summer in Minnesota but we were heading to Southern Africa where it would be winter. The need for extra layers, plus a commitment to carry on luggage restricted us a little. When I saw that part of our tour would be spent at the Davisons Camp in Zimbabwe which is a Pack for a Purpose partner, I knew I needed to try to squeeze in something. I’ve been thoughtfully finding homes for my mother’s things since her death and now I found a perfect place for all of her crochet hooks. A quick check to confirm with TSA that they were allowed and that plus assorted pens, pencils, and coloring books and we were off with a little something for BOTH of their projects.
