We just returned from two indescribably lovely weeks in Zimbabwe’s Hwange and Mana Pools National Parks. This trip was the third international trip for which we have Packed for a Purpose! As two biology teachers (high school for me, college for my husband), we love to support education everywhere. We chose Project #1 at Linkwasha Camp in Zim. Our exceptional travel agent, Clyde Beatty of Tailormade Africa, arranged to have his man on the ground, Nash, meet us at Zimbabwe International Airport.
Suzanne and Nash
Several of our neighbors in Seattle generously contributed pens, pencils, paper, frisbees, tennis balls, jump ropes, soccer balls and more to the named primary schools in Zimbabwe! Nash picked up our two donated suitcases full of school supplies contributed by our neighbors in Seattle and drove them to the camp for us, since we were traveling by bush plane. THANK YOU for making Pack for a Purpose the positive, hopeful, authentic program that it is. We’ll never travel internationally again without Packing for a Purpose!
